Comments
  • Patient was a Mild Skeletal Class III Malocclusion with a Prognathic Mandible and an anterior Cross bite.
  • Maxillary Jaw was normally placed. She had a history of previous Orthodontic treatment with an extraction of 24.
  • Her Molar Relationship was Super Class I and Incisor relationship was Class III with anterior cross bite.
  • Upper and Lower anterior Spacing and Upper midline shifted to the Left side.
  • She has a Root canal treated 11 and a missing 24.
  • Since she had refused Orthognathic Surgery to correct her Jaw Relationship, we decided to go for Camouflage option. We planned to Retract the Lower Anterior teeth and expand the lower jaw by uprighting the lower posterior teeth.
  • The Upper anterior teeth were not retracted much, to achieve proper Overjet. Extrusion was performed in the Upper Anterior teeth to achieve proper Overbite.
  • Space was opened for replacement of the missing 24, by mesialising 21,22 and 23. and expansion in the upper arch.
  • No elastics or any other auxiliaries were used during the treatment.
  • After Treatment was completed with aligners, a Crown was made for the Root Canal Treated 11, and a Bridge was made on 23 and 25 for the replacement of the Missing 24. The final Occlusion had an ideal Overjet, Overbite, and Molar Relationship.
