Comments
  • Moderate anchorage G6 First premolar extraction was used to close the extraction space in the upper arch
  • In the lower arch, the mesialization of the lower posterior segment on the right side was required in order to achieve good interdigitation of the occlusion
  • The intrusion of the lower anterior segment aided in improving the initial deep bite
  • Increased palatal root torque was placed on both upper and lower incisors to prevent lingual tipping of these teeth as the extraction spaces were closed.
  • Light intermaxillary Class II elastics were employed to help coordinate the arches
  • At the end of orthodontic treatment, fractured enamel of the upper left central incisor was restored.
