The judicious application of Invisalign protocols. The use of Class II elastics to assist in superior sequential distalization and the possibility of achieving posterior segment intrusion to aid in the correction of anterior open bite.

What contributed most to this treatment being successful?
Proper planning, combining sequential distalization protocols for Class II correction, in addition to a protocol for open bite correction combining posterior intrusion with anterior extrusion.

Summary

In a single series of aligners, without the use of additional aligners, functional occlusion with bilateral Class I malocclusion, adequate overbite and overjet, correcting her anterior open bite and increased overjet. Aligned arches and a very nice smile line.
