What contributed most to this treatment being successful?
Initially, the midlines were coincident, but the crowding was isolated to the lower left side. Due to mandibular asymmetry, symmetric alignment would have inevitably shifted the lower midline to the right. However, by performing an asymmetric extraction of only #34, the midline coincidence was successfully maintained.
