In cases where skeletal arch expansion is required, first perform arch expansion and then use Invisalign aligners to prioritize treatment predictability. In this case, the expansion was successful, and the treatment was a success.
What contributed most to this treatment being successful?
The patient had crowding and limited masticatory function. The most significant chief complaint was the cheek biting. As an adult patient, there was a limit to arch expansion with aligners alone. Therefore, MSE was used before the Invisalign treatment. Afterward, Invisalign aligners were to achieve excellent overjet (OJ), overbite (OB), and ideal occlusion.
