What learning would you share with other Invisalign providers?
In patients with a severe deep bite, overcorrecting anterior intrusion to an edge-to-edge bite can help prevent deep bite relapse. Since the erupting canines are larger than the primary canines, additional space can be allocated mesiodistally in the ClinCheck treatment plan.

What contributed most to this treatment being successful?
The patient had a severe overjet and severely protruded maxillary incisors.The maxilla exhibited a V-shaped arch, resulting in insufficient space for the eruption of permanent teeth. Due to the lack of space, the already erupted teeth experienced labioversion and rotation. The mandible also had a narrow arch. Significant arch expansion was performed in both the maxilla and mandible, along with the application of Class II elastics. Since the patient also had a deep bite, intrusion was performed on both the maxillary and mandibular anterior teeth. In the final stage of Clincheck treatment plan, the deep bite was overcorrected to bring the overjet close to 0, achieving an edge-to-edge bite in the plan. Overcorrection can prevent relapse of deep bite.
