The patient wanted to correct her open bite by replacing old prosthetics. After learning that it could be treated with Invisalign instead of braces, she decided to proceed with orthodontic treatment as well.

Summary

After anterior extrusion with Invisalign, the prosthetic treatment resulted in an aesthetically pleasing gum line and an excellent overall outcome. If the open bite had been addressed with prosthetics alone, it could have led to an unaesthetic result due to the elongated tooth length. After correcting the open bite with Invisalign, preparation for final prosthetics was done at AA. The size of the old restoration was too large, so 0.5mm of IPR was ordered. However, in practice, more of the prosthetic size was reduced during treatment. After the treatment, the Bolton ratio was adjusted, restoring the ideal tooth size. The Invisalign treatment was completed, and the upper four incisors were finished with Zirconia crowns.
