Comments

In cases of long dental bridges (2 pontics in the current case), most of doctors' concern about the accuracy of impression technique.
For example, doctors use a jig made of resin to connect impression copings or scan-bodies when taking impression.
In this case of long span (#24-#27), I used the iTero scanner to scan scan-bodies without using a jig. The final restoration fit well and I didn't spend time adjusting the occlusion and contact points. The final results are perfect.

Digital technique has the following advantages:
- More comfortable experience for patients
- Dental restorations fabricated faster
- Better fit
- Saving time and money
